Prior to booking your first appointment with me, we will schedule a
phone consultation so we can learn more about one another. This
consultation takes approximately 10-20 minutes and is always free.
The cost for a one hour in-person counselling session is $100. Fees
can be paid by cash or cheque, and payment is due on the day of the
counselling session. For those who may be unable to pay the full fee,
please ask about my sliding scale where clients can pay $85 per hour
if their financial situation prevents them from participating in
counselling at my regular rate. You will receive a receipt for all
payments received.
There are a number of extended health providers who cover counselling
costs with ‘Registered Clinical Counsellors’. Please contact your
extended health provider to determine if my services are covered for
you.
I am able travel to the home of clients for no additional cost if you
live in Vancouver. Alternatively, our counselling session can take
place in my private office in Vancouver (Kitsilano). If you live in
areas outside of Vancouver (e.g., Burnaby, West/North Vancouver,
Richmond), I may be able to travel to your home at an additional cost.
